While driving up to Fort Jones for an appointment I was blown away by the low clouds covering the Castle Crags and had to turn off on the side of the road to get a picture - appointment or no.

This is a composite image from the Racetrack Playa in Death Valley National Park. This is the image i had in my head but what I got was a very dull blue sky sunset. Sky replacements are something that not every photographer believes should be done but since this my art i figured I'd make the image I wanted to make! Art is art!
