Sunset on Garapata State Beach and the calla lilies that grow in a ravine down to water. This is a focus stack of four images and a time blend of long exposures for the sky and water.
During a short trip to Mt Shasta I was disappointed because from the moment I arrived Mt Shasta was so socked in with low clouds that I couldn't even see the base. While on the way home about an hour south of Mt Shasta I looked in the review mirror and saw that top of the mountain was poking through intermittenly so I turned around and found a pull out viewpoint. This is a time-blend of seven long exposures to fully show the mountain the the clouds swirling.
While driving up to Fort Jones for an appointment I was blown away by the low clouds covering the Castle Crags and had to turn off on the side of the road to get a picture - appointment or no.
