Skywalker
While on a planned trip to the Alabama Hills my friend and I met some highliners who we hung around with and took photos of all day. While on a break I mentioned to one the idea of this photo and he was all for it. After the sun had set but while there was a little light left in the sky I had him climb on the line to get the base shot and then in post production I added this milky way from another photo I had shot elsewhere. The result might be one of the best photos I've ever made.

Just after the sun had set and the clouds began to grow more ominous I snagged this shot of Mt. Whitney.
Boot Arch
This was not a photo I planned on taking at all. I really wanted a photo with these really cool barrel cactus that grow in the Alabama Hills but I couldn't find any and the light was so good that I gave up and booked it to the the Boot Arch so I could take advantage. Disappointed that another trip to the Alabama Hills did not include a barrel cactus photo but I'm really happy I got this.
