It was an absolutely amazing experience to see the Fagragalsfjall volcano eruption live. This might be one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I got it all on camera! This is a six image vertical panorama blended with darker exposures for the lava coming from the volcano all shot on a DJI Mavic Air 2.
Behold, the blue waters of Bruarfoss! This is the first waterfall we saw the night of our arrival in Iceland. We got there a little later than we anticipated so we were racing the light along the hike while also trying not to slip in the mud. When we got there a little light was coming from behind the mountains before the rain really started up again. This waterfall and river is so beautiful in how it swearls along with the amazing blue color. Not a bad choice for our first visit.
Ariving in the dead of night made finding a composition difficult with some patience and caution to not get jabbed by the cacti I found this spot and just a light to give a nice backlight to the front cactus here.
